Capabilities
Nine things it does, and what each refuses.
Every one of these is a piece of code rather than a claim, and each is defined as much by what it will not assert as by what it will. That second half is the part that separates this from every tool that produces a number.
How many times a thing was said is arithmetic, so it is counted here and the model is handed the answer. Asking a language model whether something is a common complaint gets you a confident adjective and no number behind it.
What a report does 9 capabilities
Reading every platform your trade is reviewed on
Google is one source of nine, and rarely the one that decides anything.
The same complaint, on separate sites
Three people in a bad week is not the same fact as three platforms independently.
Counting, rather than asking a model how common a thing is
Every frequency in a report is arithmetic this codebase performed.
Checking that a quote is in the page it cites
A quotation nobody verified is a quotation somebody invented.
Making sure it is your business, before anything else
A confident report about a company with a similar name is worse than no report.
Saying where it looked and found nothing
A platform you are absent from is a finding, not a gap in ours.
What moved since your last issue
The second issue is mostly this, and it is what a fortnightly report is for.
Weighting what was said recently
A complaint that stopped a year ago is history; the same complaint this month is a problem.
Keeping what it saw, not just what it concluded
A finding you cannot trace is a finding you cannot argue with.
The model is given the measurements and cannot add one. Every frequency in a report is arithmetic this codebase performed.
Confidence bands are fixed at 20, 6 and 1 findings
