Saying where it looked and found nothing
A platform you are absent from is a finding, not a gap in ours.
What it is
Most tools report what they found. The interesting half is often the other one: a hotel with no Tripadvisor presence, a contractor with no licence record, a software firm nobody has reviewed on G2. Reported as silence, that reads as thin research. Reported as absence, it is a fortnight's work for somebody.
Every planned source is marked afterwards as read, absent, or unread, and the report carries all three. If a source was never opened the report says so rather than implying it was clean.
How far it goes
Coverage is reconciled against the list of pages actually fetched, not against the list the run intended to fetch.
